if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2.Chr.7:14 1. Fasting – a mighty weapon against the enemy. Flesh is surrendered and soul seeks the Lord. Voluntary giving up of food with a goal to come closer to the Lord and his spirit. "Even now," declares the LORD, "return to me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning."Jl.2:12 2.. Prayer. Don't stop praying but pray fiercely ! Cry to the Lord in the morning, lunch time and in the evening! Have constant fellowship with the father and His Word! Speak with your Creator and pour your heart before Him! "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak." Mt.26:41 pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.1Ts 5:17,18 3. Repent and regret your sins. Don't forget to repent. your vessel must be pure before God. Look why and what for you are living! Do the deeds of repentance! Compare your behavior to Christ's behavior. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil.1Ts 5:21,22 As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy." Since you call on a Father who judges each man's work impartially, live your lives as strangers here in reverent fear. For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.1Pt 1:14 -19 Rend
your heart and not your
garments. Return to the
LORD your God, for he is
gracious and compassionate, Produce fruit in keeping with repentance. And do not begin to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham as our father.' For I tell you that out of these stones God can raise up children for Abraham. The axe is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire." Lk 3:8,9 4. The sadness that pleases the Lord. Change the way you think! Change your lifestyle. Put the word of god to work in your life. Follow Christ and consult with Him about everything. Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done. At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter. (2 Cor 7:10,11) 5. Revival. May the gospel be your goal and give everything to save the lost. Preach the gospel, pray and bless people all the time. God is telling us: I will rescue you from your own people and from the Gentiles. I am sending you to them to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.' (Acts 26:17-18) For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet, till her righteousness shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch. The nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow. (Isa. 62:1,2)With the love of Christ!
