I would like to share two more food miracles with you.
They happened in the late 90s, when many had difficulties with food.
Once I sent a blind sister home after evening prayer. I thought about what to cook for the family. There was some meat and a few carrots at home. I thought I would make soup, but there were no potatoes (not even in the store).
And then what happened?
We got off the tram and there was a potato on the ground in the snow.
We picked it up and a few steps further: the next potato.
By the time I got to my sister’s house, I had picked up 7 really big potatoes.
Again only a miracle of God!
The last one I want to write about today was a very difficult situation, in which God once again miraculously intervened with His help.
My husband was sick, I had just lost my job, the children were in elementary school, all things were bought from the store on the basis of vouchers. We ran out of money, ran out of food and also ran out of vouchers.
I remember going to evening prayer and when I got back home, a great miracle had happened.
One sister, sorting through her pantry that day, found that she had dry ingredient and that she is free to give half to anyone.
And it occurred to her that she must bring them to us. And also one brother was given the heart to bring us a few boxes of potatoes that his family had left over.
So all the glory to God alone who takes care of us even in the most difficult times.
With the love of God,
Ina Tikerpäe.
