God is looking at His plan

Years ago, God told me through a prophet that He had called me to a special job. On the one hand, it is an honor, but on the other, it is also dangerous. He added a sentence that “the enemy could not take my life.” Not because I am worse or better than anyone, but God has decided it do be so.

Some servants of God or God’s people spent a short or long time in their earthly ministry.

For example – Stephen was the first martyr. His work was short.

We know that the apostle Peter served God for a long time, John the Baptist even longer, and so on.

Everyone is given time to throw stones and time to collect stones. None of us knows when our hour will come.

There are scales in heaven. On the left is the cup of disobedience and on the right is the cup of obedience. Every day a person adds something to these scales – his act, thought or word. All good things go to the right of the weight and bad things go to the left. And one day God will review the weights of all. He sees what outweighs and announces His judgment.

Christianity and our City Church was hit by a terrible tragedy (sermon preached in 2005). Brother Aleksander Mikhailov went to eternity.

We extend our condolences to the parents and relatives of brother Aleksander Mikhailov.

This is a great loss for me and for our church as a whole, because no brother has been in such a harmony with me, so responsible and always ready to help. He helped me in my service. The devil is attacking, as I said, above all, the leaders of the church so that the gospel would not be preached and we would do the work of God badly, partially or from time to time. When Shasha came to us, he agreed to help me. And from that moment began an active period of evangelism in the church. I can safely say that many trips would not have taken place without him.

Serving God and helping the saints does not guarantee complete victory. Because there is also a personal life that is outside the church. And all this is one whole that God counts. There should be no separate life in the church and at home. God looks at it as a whole. When I heard about the tragic death of Shasha, I thought how can it be that I am still alive but that young man who did not have as much time to do evil as I had in my life is no longer in this life.

But God’s decisions are unpredictable. The fact that we still live in this earth does not mean that one day God’s judgment will not come into our lives. There is no excuse or mitigating circumstance for us to be on earth any longer. Just the sins of one person appear sooner and the sins of another later. But no one can escape God’s judgment.

And let no one think to himself, “I will be saved, I will succeed in my path and this judgment will pass me by and everything will be fine.”

You know, being a Christian for a short time, he did a lot, but it didn’t really mean anything. Ask yourself the same question: “If would God come today? Would I survive? “

You know, I’m sure only a few would survive. I mean it. We thank God every day for today’s opportunity to change, to surrender, to open our hearts and to cooperate with the Holy Ghost.

Just because you live today doesn’t mean you’ll live tomorrow, and it doesn’t mean you’ll live in a year, much less being saved in 30s. I spoke to him just as I speak to you today.

Do not play with God’s grace. Unfortunately, my sermon on Saturday was too prophetic.

I said: “See that no one else takes your place, lest your heart be turned away from God, so that you may not be cut off. Make sure you are not on the list of the dead. If you’re still alive today and doing what you want to do, that doesn’t mean it’s always the case. “

I don’t know if a humble assistant with the same ability, always helpful and understanding will ever come into my life. But one thing is clear, if I give up, I will not be saved and unfortunately I will not give satan such a good opportunity to rejoice! He can’t see it! He cannot experience such a joy.

This blow was aimed primarily at me. I will not reduce the loss of parents! I see the big plan.

The devil can’t destroy me, because that’s God’s order, I know that. But he is allowed to shut my mouth and he tries to make my arms short and my legs heavy so that I cannot carry the Word. That my wallet would be empty and that I would feel bad. The main thing is for me to shut up. But I don’t offer him that joy.

You know, I only knew Shasha at the church. And I’ll tell you one thing, he didn’t bother me in any way. And even if there had been clues and a shadow over it, there would have been more good and better thank God for it. Much has been done! Many people were helped! Many people were encouraged and strengthened!

Not every day do we meet people who, when they go to prison, think about preaching the gospel there. Unfortunately, there are few of them. Can we all do that?

But on the contrary, we run away and hide.

We will try to get out and ask God for help so that this cup would pass us by. There are not many of them. Yes, he was beaten outside the church.

No matter how strong you are, no matter how secure you are, no matter what friends you have, satan will fight against you personally. He is cunning and cruel. He will draw you into the noose and destroy you mercilessly. You alone cannot resist, and without a clergyman it is impossible. No one could or can not. No one won alone. That is why we first see in the book of Acts, “They walked and stayed together,” and then the Holy Spirit came. After the arrival of the Holy Spirit, they did not disintegrate, but continued to be together until they matured and became stronger. The apostle Paul says he no longer doubts. He became strong. And then the strong were sent out in pairs. When one falls, the other raises. If one is in a bad mood, the other will make him happy. When one is sad, the other helps him rejoice. When there is danger and you shut yourself in, there is always someone close by and you no longer think as if you were alone.

These are the first examples from the Bible before and after the coming of the Holy Ghost. Together! It is like-mindedness, unity and one heart. With their common lips they praised God. I will not take anything from Shasha or accuse him of anything. I’m not talking badly about him, because why should we talk badly about him, because he was one of us.

We promise God that we will avenge satan 100 times. We preach the gospel, we lay hands on the sick and they are healed. Brother Aleksander will remain in our memory as a worshiper who helped the Saints. I don’t remember him otherwise. I don’t know the other Aleksander. I only heard about his other life and talked to him and encouraged him to believe in God.

But sin is sin. And the punishment for sin is death. Never forget that. Never say: “I’m better!” There are a lot of “whys?” There are more questions than answers today and maybe that’s good. Many answers lead to obesity.

I want to tell you that my thinking and life after the tragedy are not the same. I look at things differently now.

God is shaking our church and our lives. This is a warning to us all. This is no accident.

There is no way we can be separated from the Church and the Holy Spirit. And when we have went away, then we must cleanse our hearts and hands and return. Otherwise there is no guarantee. I am not talking specifically about sins. The reward for sin is death, for every sin. It can be hatred, greed, wrong thinking, separation from the church, clatter – the reward is death. Remember that! And let’s move on!

Thank God He has allowed me to be so strict! But, you know, I’m not very strict yet, but my severity keeps many from dying.

If he can remove me, you’re an easy prey for him.

We are going to his funeral and it is a sign before God that we will not give up and know the devil’s intentions. And we win if we don’t love our lives even to death.

Listen! Do not give in to lusts!

He said you win when you don’t love and pamper your soul.

Be strict! And live for God and then you will win! That is what I have been calling you to do every day for many years. So I say: “Get together, be together! Start with homegroups. ” Subjugate yourself, be at the grassroots level, then he will not see you, he will only see Jesus.

We can handle it! Do you believe that? I do not know how the Lord will compensate us for the loss of our brother Aleksander. We have already planned evangelistic trips to Germany, Norway, Ukraine and Latvia. I don’t know, but God knows. I thought I knew I was sure he would come and be in line one day as before. But unfortunately we will never see him come in here again. He has no descendants. It is a pity!

God is good! Somehow he gave Shasha the opportunity to visit Latvia, Russia and Ukraine. We visited his relatives in Bryansk and Narva. God has already foretold this. He hadn’t had a chance to do that before. This is life. And you don’t know anything for sure.

If you do not do what God tells you, you will die.

Remember, if I don’t do what my spiritual leader tells me, I may die sooner or later.

I told him to go home, take his Bible and pray. Proclaim the Word of God over your life and proclaim the gospel when God gives you a chance. Forget about your old friends. Don’t leave the house. Ella also talked to her, and shortly before his death, his sister Oksana spoke to him.

I tell you all — homegroups, prayers and active participation in church life keeps you together. God sees the point in it. We must seek His benefit! He didn’t do what we told him many times. He’s not with us anymore. This is very sad.

Do not give up and do not give up faith. Fight! The Lord is with you!

With the blessings of God,

Pastor Paul Armand
