Good people

Read Philippians 2:1-11
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His mercy endures forever! (Psalm 107:1)

One day while waiting for the bus, a blind man joined me at the bus stop. We started a conversation about the bus schedule and the exchange of ideas continued even after I had helped the man through the bus door. We bought tickets together and sat next to each other. We continued the general conversation, but suddenly the man said: “You know, God is good!” A question immediately crossed my mind: how could a man who had lost his sight say that? The man continued on the same topic: “Only when I went blind did I find out how many good people there are in the world.” I thank God for them every day!” That meeting helped me understand something important – I should be grateful every day for every little blessing. God has promised to be always with us and guide our steps. In any situation, it is comforting to know that we can trust God and the good people in this world.
