In Belarus, a priest was fined for a sticker “Ukraine, forgive”. Priest of the Belarusian Greek Catholic Church Vasily Yegorov, rector of the parish of the Mother of God of Belynichskaya, was today subjected to an administrative penalty in the form of a fine of 50 basic units (about $500). His trial took place in Mogilev.

The priest was detained on March 25, it is assumed that the reason for the detention was a sticker on his car with the inscription “Ukraine, forgive.” From 25 to 28 March he was kept in a temporary detention center.

Vasily Yegorov studied in Ivano-Frankivsk, received ordination to the diaconate and presbytery from the hands of Bishop Sophrony the Wise of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. He is a father of many children and an activist in defense of traditional Christian family values, actively participated in the activities of the Charitable Foundation “Open Hearts” (pro-life movement).
