“On January 22, 2023, the Russian military broke into the Church of the Baptist Baptist Church in Berdyansk, which is located in the temporarily occupied territory, searched and checked the documents of those present. Then they took everyone out, locked the church building and took the keys away,” the message says. – “Today the pastor was summoned to the commandant’s office of the city of Berdyansk. Berdyansk ECB Church turned 115 years old in September 2022. Many trials of the Soviet times fell on her lot. And today these trials with the advent of the “Russian world” are returning again. Our brothers and sisters need protection and prayer support.”

The Facebook page also says that on January 23, “the Russian occupation authorities closed another House of Prayer in Berdyansk. This time – the Second Church of the ECB on the Ivan Bohun street. The requirements are the same – renunciation of Ukrainian registration and registration with the occupation administration.”
