Feast of Renewal. Feast of the Cleansing of the Temple. Hanukkah. It is in Israel.
An ancient victory. It has already been two thousand years. However, it is remembered. They appreciate it.
Congratulations, Israel! Even now in the cruel phase of terrorism, which is seething with the desire to destroy you! Even now, when the renewal needs protection.
And new and constant renewal.
This happens when there are national eternal values. These are the values that make up a nation!
These are the values given to Israel by the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob! Jehovah Himself appeared and commanded! Take it and keep it.
This, my brother, is a great thing. Even the biggest! Incomparably great. After all, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob sent His Son into the world to give salvation to the whole world through Him and to make all nations His sons!
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).
Of course, Israel had a responsibility to bring God’s Shalom to the whole world.
But the world hated Jehovah. Hated Israel! And they killed Jews everywhere and always. And in Russia they hated and killed. And even now they hate us because they support terrorist organizations that are trying to destroy Israel.
That is why evil reigns in Russia. We have not accepted Jehovah’s love! We have not accepted God’s Son Jesus Christ!
We rebelled against God and His grace in Russia so angrily that we tried to destroy not only churches and holy books, not only people who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, but also the thought of God, turning man into soulless and idealess godless creatures!
“Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands. Remember that at that time you were separate from Christ, excluded from citizenship in Israel and foreigners to the covenants of the promise, without hope and without God in the world.” (Eph 2:11-12)
And we were and will be.
We cannot survive the renewal. We have nothing to protect. We don’t know how to love. We don’t have the most important thing. There is no Creator! And that means we have no life. We do not exist!
This is why we are so good at hating. We are the best liars! We have the most senseless cruelty! And our lives are not worth a cent.
We need a REVIVAL! We need Christ! Lord Jesus Christ and only Christ!
“For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12).
Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world!
Jesus Christ is the only and absolute TRUTH!
Jesus Christ is the only one who gives eternal LIFE!
Jesus Christ is the True, the only eternal Value that shows the WAY!
Jesus Christ is forgiveness, He is peace, He is love!
My wish for you, my blessed friends, is an invitation to eternal rest from the Lord Himself!
“Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest; Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:28-29).
And Grace appears!
“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. 18 For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.” (Ephesians 2:13-18)
And SHALOM arises!
Eternal rest in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ!
