Seek Me that you may live! Amos 5:4

Rabbi Baruki, the grandson of Rabbi Baal Shem, was playing hide and seek with the other boys. He hid himself, and after waiting in his hiding place for a long time, he thought that no one would find him. After a while, he came out of hiding, but could no longer see his companions and realized that no one had been looking for him. Then he ran crying to his grandfather and complained about the injustice done to him.

Then tears came to Rabbi Baruk’s eyes and he said: “Yahweh also says: I hide Myself, but no one wants to look for me.” (Ps. 27:8-9)
