“While going through disappointments, difficulties and trials, it is difficult to call this a good part in our path. However, without the dark part, it is impossible to get to the best in our life. Before God created everything, first there was chaos. But even if our path does not seem beneficial to us, God calls something “good” when it fulfills its purpose. And it is so important, when you pass the valley, to wait for the morning. Because this is the only way to achieve victory. Stephen Furtick shared this in his sermon.
Joseph reaches the end of this journey filled with ups and downs and says to his brothers, “God intended this and it is good.” After everything he’s been through. This is how he describes his precious experience, which cost him freedom and the best years of his life. And everything he came up with to describe it at the end is “that’s good.”
But this is the very first thought of God. In Genesis 1, God created everything out of nothing. And he said it was good! After the process that Joseph went through, he no longer was upset over what his brothers thought or did. He understood that God intended this for good. God’s plan throughout the entire process never stopped being good. Can you say it by faith? Sometimes what we call things big, but God calls themsmall. And what we call small, God calls big.
Isaiah 5:20: “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, consider darkness as light and light as darkness, consider bitter sweet and sweet bitter.”
Sometimes we use our relationship with God as an excuse not to look at the situation from a different perspective.
Joseph went through the rape charge, he went through unfair imprisonment because of these charges. He was forgotten by those he helped. Everything we experience is only multiplied by a hundred. We deal with small “grievances”, he dealt with them on a more serious level. And after that he was able to say something so powerful – “God planned it for good”
We want to hear that everything will be fine. But I want to warn you, you cannot get to the good part if you are not ready to go through the dark part.
Before the good part, Joseph had to go through the darkness. So it is for you. But the One Who is in you, He is greater than the One who is in the world!
Sometimes, to get to the good part, you have to keep your mouth shut when you get through the dark part. You may have to go through several seasons before you get to anything worthwhile. Years passed before Joseph met his brothers. He had years to look at the brothers and everything that happened to him from a different perspective. Because he saw this process while walking in the darkness.
Genesis 1: 4 “God saw that the light was good and separated it from the darkness.”
Every process has a dark side. And it can show up right before the best part. And if you let this die in the darkness, you will not get to the good. But it won’t always be so gloomy! Live to see it. Be confident that you will see the goodness of the Lord.
You haven’t even met your best self yet. You have to go through this valley. Everything that God does in your life may not look good, but it is! You have to get to the end to get to the feast.
Ro 8:28 “We know that God turns everything for good for those who love Him and whom He has called according to His design.”
God calls something “good” not because of how you feel at that moment or how much it matches your expectations. God calls something “good” when it fulfills its purpose.
When God created everything, He knew that darkness did not have to dissipate for light to become effective. Before victory comes into your life, you must get to it in your mind. You see only a formless emptiness, but God said, “Let there be light.”
When Jesus was leaving, He said that it would be better this way, because He would send the Holy Spirit. But, thanks to this, the kingdom is within us. Since He is with us.
Many will not reach their destination because they do not want to face disappointments. God tells you, “There is a feast even in the valley. And you have to go through the dark side to see victory. “
You still have a lot ahead of you. Joseph did not die in a pit, in a prison, he lived for 110 years. And so I believe that I will see goodness! You haven’t even gotten to the good part yet, you haven’t seen the best that God has in store for you.
Beforethe sun rises it gets darker, and not vice versa. I want you to know: “God begins good things in darkness.” You are now in a dark part of your life, you are confused – this is where God begins. This darkness is just the cover of how great the goal is. In everything there is a part that will make you want to quit. You have to get to the good part. Otherwise it will be a “miscarriage” of your calling.
If God began, it is not for man to quit. Who started a good work in you will bring it to complition. “
