“I cry to Yahweh, to the Most High, to Yahweh, who directs my affairs.” Psalm 57:3
If you have prayed that Yahweh would send you the right life partner, a better job or change the heart of a rebellious child, remember that no matter if He changes the situation or changes you, in any case, He “manages your business.”
Yahweh sees the whole picture, and He loves you so much that He lets “…all things work out for your good…” (Romans 8: 28).
Someone has written: “It’s hard to understand the meaning of life’s difficulties when you’re in the midst of them, you’re too tired, your field of vision is limited, you don’t have the strength or understanding to deal with it.”
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding!” (Proverbs 3:5).
Do not try to control people, situations or the era with your own hands, but give the reins back to Him who knows the right way.
Think if you would be in such a mess if you acted consciously?
We talk about waiting for Yahweh, but He also waits for us until we are ready to receive, until we begin to appreciate what we ask of Him, until we have made the necessary preparations in our hearts, until we are free from resentment and dissatisfaction, until we have reached sufficient maturity and our understanding is grown up.
Sometimes He waits until we think He has forgotten us, just to test us and grow our faith.
Remember,”…that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years…”(2 Pet. 3:8).
His background is eternity, and He can solve a problem in a minute or in two generations.
Isaiah said: “And yet the Lord waits to show you mercy… Blessed are all who wait for Him” (Isaiah 30: 18).
Wait! Don’t rush ahead of Yahweh and you will be a part of Yahweh’s best.
