I have had to see a lot of filth in this life. Lies and violence increased in the summer and winter. The Soviet government did an unprecedented amount of dirty tricks.
I saw how the Soviet court turned saints into criminals and sent them into a zone of “correction and re-education.” Some were sent to prison. Others lost their jobs because of their faith in God and were expelled. This is how Soviet democracy worked.
I saw Soviet troops enter Prague and destroying people who wanted freedom with tanks. Horrible!
I saw Soviet troops enter Afghanistan. They destroyed this country for ten years, people were killed, no one knows why.
Chechnya was a special mincer. There the beauty of the Soviet soldiers was revealed in all its glory.
Orthodox Russia has carried out countless deadly projects. I can’t describe everything here. And the enormous inevitability of endless military destructive lethal operations seems like a habit and even inevitable.
But still!
I could not even think of an invasion of Ukraine. This is a crazy deed! Not only Cain kills Abel, but Russia also kills itself in Ukraine.
And so it happened.
Mass murder. Extremely cruel. Destruction is complete. And hospitals and schools and homes. The killing of civilians is presented as an incredible act of violence. It’s raining like a cornucopia! The Kremlin-launched death rink is not planning to pause.
What to do in such a tragic reality?
Ukraine stands and resists. There is no doubt here.
Russia should stop. Change mind. Repent. Liberate Ukraine. And then start building up the country.
Christians should clearly understand where the perpetrator is and where the victim is. And, of course, protect the victim. Not to look for excuses for the murderer.
God is love! The murderers who are killing Ukraine today are killing Christ!
But the judgment of God is ahead. And each of us is accountable for everything he has done while living in the flesh.
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
