A soul with a ribbon around my neck.
Without blinking, I cried out to God in my spirit.
Father, I say, teach me, understand me.
Cleanse my heart, inspire my soul with your Holy Spirit!
What a miracle, He hugged me, separated me from all the dirt and surrounded me with, it is impossible to describe, such warmth, bliss, silence and breathing, peace and happiness. Apparently, this is how babies rest on their mother’s chest. God opened the Scriptures.
And rocking me to sleep He sang me a psalm. Like a lullaby.
Such a prayer of purification, a prayer of confession, a prayer of forgiveness, and it became a prayer of healing.
And joy came.
“Blessed are those whose guilt is forgiven and whose sins are covered!
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not count sin and in whose spirit there is not evil!
When I was silent, my bones were worn out by daily moaning day and night,
Your hand weighed heavily me; my freshness vanished, as in a summer drought.
But I revealed my sin to You and did not hide my guilt;
I said, “I confess my trespasses to God,” and You freed me from my guilt.
Every righteous person prays to You at a favorable time, and then the flow of many waters will not reach him.”
You have me covered.
“I understand you, I guide you in the way you must walk;
I lead you, my eye is upon you.”
“Do not be like a horse, like a colt without reason;
who must be tamed with muzzles and bridles so that he obeys you.”
The wicked have many sorrows, but he who trusts in the Lord will be surrounded by goodness. Rejoice in the Lord and be glad, you righteous! Let’s celebrate, so be it. Ps 32:1-11.
And I sang the song of joy and victory that Christians sang in times of great suffering and hardship!
My sorrowful friends, let us sing together this beautiful song of the ancient Christians.
“Rejoice, my soul,
Glory to Christ Jesus!
He expects nothing but praise from me,
Oh, how tender is His love!
He saw me in sin
But He still loved me
And He saved me by shedding His blood:
How great is His love!
Let Him come to me
And confine my heart in the evenings;
He takes me to heaven:
Oh, how strong is His love!”
