I agree with that. But you know, there are quacks in every walk of life. Some of them are among doctors. Would you say, “I will never go to the doctor again because there are quacks!” In some rural areas, when weighing groceries, the seller secretly puts his hand on the scale to make the scale heavier. So I don’t buy groceries anymore because I’m being cheated?
My wife was at a restaurant a while ago. They added somethings to her bill and she looked at the bill and realized she hadn’t ordered it. She went to the waitress and asked: “What happened? I have not ordered these things.” Waitress answered: “I know. But some people were before you and they didn’t pay the bill. We had to add these things somewhere?”
My father was a dairy farmer. Where we lived, dairy farmers were accused of adding water to milk. Does this mean I will never drink milk again because it has been diluted with water?
But the Holy Scripture says: “For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. ” (KJV English translation)
God condemns the hypocrites! Yes! But this is no excuse for you!
Because every church I’ve been to has had hypocrits. I repeat: in every church. If you find an absolutely perfect church and join it, it becomes imperfect because we are all imperfect.
