Read Romans 12:1-8 Pray constantly, watch in thanksgiving! (Colossians 4:2)
My husband and I often take long walks near our town. A few years ago I noticed some garbage thrown on the road and picked it up. It wasn’t hard to do, but soon I saw more and more new garbage appearing. This behavior of people made me angry at first, but later I started praying for these troublemakers. God turned my resentment and anger into empathy and forgiveness.
Prayer can change our attitudes – replace hate with love, fear with trust, anger with forgiveness, sadness with joy. When we consciously choose to confront negative feelings with prayer, we can change our attitudes like Yeshua did.
Prayers have extraordinary power.
